The overcoat

Why have a cape like everyone else when you can have a wonderful coat? Shown is my coat in navy blue twill with jaquard trim and i love it. It flows so wonderfully as you walk it's amazing. You can ask for it either with or without the three quater sleeves. I've seen examples of this coat in some form or another dating back as far as 400 ad. So it's great for you SCA fans. The sides can either be seamed (as in the picture and in my own coat) or not. If they are not seamed, some buttons or hooks will be added at the waist to help keep the coat closed. The coat itself is open in the front. I've often seen some people use it as a robe to go with their chemise so it does have a year potential. Also, the cute, adorable doggie in the picture is historically accurate, but not for sale. Sorry, she's mine!
